This presentation will provide an overview of the Comprehensive Shoreland Protection Act (CSPA) and will place emphasis on dispelling many of the  myths with regard to limitations on vegetation removal & general construction within the protected shoreland.  This presentation will provide an overview of these changes and information on the new shoreland permitting requirements, impervious surface limitations, the standards that apply in the new waterfront buffer, and the grid and points system for managing trees and saplings. Also, highlighting the many activities that do not require a
shoreland permit. Discussion will take place relative to many low cost but high tech solutions to managing residential stormwater and erosion.  The NH legislature enacted significant amendments to the Comprehensive Shoreland Protection Act (CSPA) that became effective July 1, 2008.
